McInnes: Real action required to install electric car charging points across Scotland

Commenting on a UK Department of Transport announcement that Scotland will receive grant money to install electric car charging points, Liberal Democrat Transport spokesperson Alison McInnes said:

"This green revolution is great news for the Scottish environment.

"Thanks to Liberal Democrat pressure, the Scottish Government applied to be part of this scheme.

"We revealed that charging points were not in place across Scotland. I hope now charging points can be installed as quickly as possible.

"The Scottish Government need to follow up their warm words about an electric vehicle charging network with real action."
